In Fall 2006 the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen has launched a new Jean Monnet Course called “European Union Law and Law of International Organizations”. This is a compulsory course of the BSc in Economics and Social Sciences of the School of Economics and Management, and has been set up with the financial support of the European Commission, DG Education and Culture. In fact, the European Union finances on an annual basis teaching projects in the field of European integration studies, which are deemed to stimulate academic excellence. These projects, called Jean Monnet from the name of the father of European integration studies, include teaching but also research and debate activities at university level. The course will be supplemented by other activities in order to reach a larger public both inside of the University and in the Province of Bozen/Bolzano. Through the Jean Monnet web site students can easily consult the didactical materials prepared for the course. The web site contains not only the course outline but also up-to-date papers, articles, indications to books and other references for those who would like to gain a deeper knowledge on the subject matter... |
